2017 FWO SBO and TBM Information Sessions - 10 February 2017 @ Etterbeek (and 7 February @ Jette)
The SBO program focuses on innovative research which, if scientifically successful, will create prospects for economic or social applications (e.g. a new generation of products, processes or services). As such, the SBO program breaks down into a part with an economic finality and one with a social finality.
The TBM program aims at a contribution to the implementation of new therapies, diagnostic techniques and preventive methods in the long term. A qualifying condition is that this implementation would not make it to the patient without government funding due to a lack of industrial interest.
VUB TechTransfer organizes an information session on the 2017 FWO Strategic Basic Research (SBO) and Applied Biomedical Research (TBM) call @ campus Jette and campus Etterbeek on Tuesday February 7, 2017 and Friday, February 10, 2017 respectively.
The information sessions are free of charge, but registration is required (before February 2nd).
