The "Brussels LifeTech Cluster" is pleased to welcome Professor Wim Vanhaverbeke for an interactive Workshop session based on a Case Study related to Open Innovation and potential collaboration between spin-offs/starts-up and big pharma companies.

Prof Dr Wim Vanhaverbeke is Professor at the University of Hasselt.  He is also visiting Professor at ESADE Business School and the National University of Singapore. He published in several international journals and is co-editor with of "Open Innovation: Researching a New Paradigm", a book about the research challenges related to Open Innovation. He is a dedicated open innovation researcher collaborating with different partners in universities and companies around the globe. He established the European Innovation Forum with Henry Chesbrough in 2012.

  • 17:00 - 17:30 Welcome / Registration
  • 17:30 - 18:00 Introduction & Assignement explanations
  • 18:00 - 19:00 Business Case resolution (by groups)
  • 19:00 - 19:30 Presentation of 2-3 groups results
  • 19:30 - 19:45 Discussion about the learning points and Conclusions
  • 19:45 - 21:00 Walking dinner
