Flanders' Care: Call for funding demonstration projects - 19/01/2012

Flanders' Care is one of the mainstays of Flanders in Action (Vlaanderen in Actie), an ambitious future project of the Flemish Government.

The purpose of Flanders' Care is to stimulate and improve "the provision of quality care and responsible business in the care economy in a demonstrable way and through innovation."

One of the instruments of Flanders' Care is the demonstration project. This is the bridge between research and development, and the deployment of innovation. The purpose of the project is to demonstrate that a particular innovation achieves an improvement in terms of quality of care, offering perspective on a roll in Flanders and international exploitation.

This implies the need to practice a health care agent as a starting point, effect measurement and benchmarking, and in many cases partnering for knowledge creation and deployment.
