Visionary seminar 'Artificial nutrition - the future on your plate' - 2 December 2014

Food is at the center of major social changes. Thus, the focus on health and well-being leads to new insights into the important role of dietary patterns. More and more it becomes clear that each individual has different nutritional needs and preferences, and it is for the task of the food industry to make the dream of personalized nutrition come true. A new way of thinking regarding production and quality analysis of food is on the agenda.

The technology has not stood still and offers promising solutions, from cultured meat to 3D printing to continuous monitoring and analysis in intelligent packaging using lab-on-chip technology. In other words, we can make it. But will it taste good?
