Call Business Partnership Facility - Enterprises for SDGs

The call is about implementing one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) in one of the developing countries (See BIO-Flanders for the list of countries). Projects will be evaluated on the quality of their proposal, but if there are enough high quality proposals, projects in one of the 14 partner countries are preferred.

Consortia are preferred (knowledge institutions, not-for-profit, ..), the participation of a for-profit partner a prerequisite. A partner from the developing country is a plus, but not a prerequisite.

50% of the total project budget can be financed. The other 50% must be contributed by the consortia.

All projects can be accepted, trial, O&O, .. But a solid business- and financial plan is a part of the proposal and the consortium must be able to finance 50% of the total budget. The project is seen as a stepping stone towards economic sustainability of the activities and social impact of the project.

Duration of the project is max 3 years.

Possible funding between €50.000 and €200.000. The total budget will be anywhere between €100.000 and €400.000.

The next 5 years, two calls per year will take place. The total budget of the first call is €2 million, the next calls will have a budget of €1 million.

Deadline for the first call is on 12/02/2019, the second call will open on 13/02/2019.
