FWO call for Applied Biomedical Research projects (TBM) 2018

The FWO launched the 2018 call for Applied Biomedical Research (TBM) proposals. These projects are intended for “late stage” biomedical research and must aim at the development of a new therapy, diagnosis and/or specific prevention of a particular human disease or a comparison of existing procedures in order to find out their relative efficacy and cost-effectiveness.

TBM projects need be sufficiently advanced in the trajectory from research to clinical applications and industrial interest must be lacking at the time of submission because of commercial reasons.

More information concerning the finalities and modalities of this program can be found on the FWO website (nl/en).

The deadline of project transfer from the project supervisor to his/her host institution (“main applicant”) is March 16, 2018 at 5 pm.
