On January 26th, VUB TechTransfer organizes an online info session on doctoral and post-doctoral mandates funded by VLAIO: Baekeland mandates & Innovation mandates.
About the calls
The purpose of the Baekeland mandates is to support strategic research at doctoral level in close collaboration and co-funded by a company. The mandates should be directed towards achieving a PhD and should aim to build up scientific or technological knowledge as a basis for economic applications. More info here.
Innovation mandates target postdoctoral researchers who wish see their research findings applied in industry, either through collaboration with an existing company, or a new spin-off company to be established. More info here.
