Nowadays researchers are expected to collaborate with a broad field of players: colleagues – often from different disciplines – , companies, non-profit organizations and governments. Furthermore, there are many funding opportunities that researchers can apply for, provided they collaborate with companies or societal actors.
For many researchers this is not obvious: after all, how to start building that network? Therefore VUB TechTransfer joins forces with Crosstalks! To help you take those first steps in building your network, we offer to organize one or more networking sessions on your research topic.
More specifically, we can organize one to three sessions on maximum three research topics. Your topic should be broad enough to attract potential partners (external and internal VUB), but we also ask you to formulate your research questions as clear as possible so that we can look for suitable interlocutors in a more targeted way.
Is there interest from the field in your research and would you like to engage (more) with external partners? Based on your reactions on the questions in the form below, we will select three themes for our first ever networking series. The deadline for this call is May 31, 2022. The events will take place in the first months of 2023. For questions or if you prefer to explain your topic via telephone, contact Jessica Hekking (firstname.lastname@example.org – 0472346702) or Goedele Nuyttens (email@example.com).
