VUB TechTransfer Week 2019

This week aims to answer all your questions about how your research can be valorised with the support of VUB TechTransfer.
What can you expect? An introduction to TechTransfer and what we can do for researchers with interactive workshops on valorisation, IP, European, Flemish and Brussels funding channels for applied research and chairs.
During 3 days you get the opportunity to join one of our workshops at lunch and on Friday November 8 we close off the week with a debate and a networking drink.
The lunch sessions are grouped into 3 research fields:
- Social Sciences, Humanities & Arts: November 5 at the U-Residence, Etterbeek
- Engineering: November 6 at the U-Residence, Etterbeek
- Life Sciences: November 7 at Atrium/Forum, Jette
Nevertheless you are free to choose on which day you will participate.
During the lunch sessions from 5 November to 7 November you can opt for 1 of the following parallel sessions:
Closing event on November 8 from 12-3pm at the U-Residence in Etterbeek
Join us for a debate with top experts and renowned speakers who will discuss the collaboration between university and industry.
Speakers already confirmed: Kristel Allewijn (VLAIO), Sven Vandeputte (OCAS), Ian Freelance (Qbic), Annick Hubin (VUB professor Engineering), Maarten Kuijk (entrepreneur & professor Engineering), Cathy Macharis (VUB professor at MOBI) and Hugo Loosvelt (IP Manager VUB TechTransfer).
We welcome you from 12 to 12.25 with sandwiches. We will end the session with a networking reception at 2pm.
