Weave.ly, a VUB spin-off, has completed a first capital round of € 300.000. The capital round was led by interuniversity seed and growth fund Qbic and completed by finance&invest.brussels.
Weave.ly developed a pioneering no-code platform that allows for partial software development process automation. In this way, the platform helps companies to bring digital products and services to market faster and more effectively. They aim to assist companies to design, validate and develop software more efficiently. There is great interest in such a platform because even before its full launch it already had 250 users, including a number of Flemish companies. They fit into the latest wave of new software companies that focuses on design.
The capital injection will be used to further commercialise the platform and to become an important player in the growing software design market
